Lisa is the story of a skyscraper that has suddenly gained self awareness in the middle of a city. Lisa is a site specific video art created for the ICC building in Hong Kong, one of the tallest buildings in the world that hosts a Guiness record setting light show.

The video is created by code, in Processing programming language. It encompasses 3 facades of the building, creating 2 contrasting views smiling/frowning, sad/happy throughout the animation.

Mekana özgü video projeksiyon

Lisa bir anda kendi varlığının farkına varan bir gökdelenin hikayesi. Lisa, Hong Kong'da dünyanın en yüksek binalarından biri olan ve rekor sahibi bir ışık gösterisi sistemine ev sahipliği yapan ICC binası için oluşturulmuş, mekana özgü bir video çalışması.

Video Processing programlama dili ile oluşturulmuştur. Binanın üç yüzeyindeki ışıklandırma animasyon sırasında aynı anda iki zıt yülen/suratını asan, mutlu/üzgün yüzün gözükmesini sağlamıştır.

Eylul Dogruel is an independent artist from Istanbul, Turkey. Her work focuses on the interaction between materials and and their style elements. Eylul uses a wide variety of materials including code, photography, video, animation, pen and paper, and acrylic and canvas. Her work has been shown in international exhibits and events.

Eylül Doğruel İstanbul'da yaşayan bir bağımsız sanatçıdır. Çalışmalarında malzemeler ve malzemelerin stil öğeleri arasındaki ilişkileri irdelemektedir. Eylül programlama, fotoğraf, video, animasyon, kağıt-kalem ile tuval ve akrilik gibi değişik malzemeler kullanmaktadır. Eserleri uluslararası sergi ve etkinliklerde sergilenmiştir.
